It’s hard to find a place that has more access to the outdoors than Corvallis. Why not spend this summer exploring it? demonstration forest with four miles of trails and open space area; McDonald Forest , which features interpretive trails showing aspects of forest ecology and management; and Peavy Arboretum , a 40-acre preserve featuring a variety of native and exotic plant species, are good places to start. Starker Forests also provide both guided and self guided tours to become acquainted with forest management and enjoy the great outdoors.
